The dogs below need loving, caring homes.

Please help us while we try to find loving homes for our animals. A home of their own, a warm bed, Lots-Of-Love, and a full stomach is all these pets need and we intend to find each and everyone of them a home. Your donations help us achieve our goal. You can either be a sponsor to a pet while in our care, be a volunteer with your time, or you can send a donation (by clicking on the link below) to help cover some of the expense of caring for these special animals.

NAME: Chance
BREED: Belton English Setter
AGE: approx. 2 years old
ID#: C001
HISTORY: Chance is a very birdy orange Belton English Setter, approximately 2 years old. He has been neutered, and is current on vaccinations. He would rather point birds than eat when he is hungry. He likes other dogs, mostly ignores cats, and loves children. Chance was found wandering and starving. It is assumed he was dumped when the owners discovered he was heartworm positive. Chance has been cured of his heartworms and is now on preventative. Chance has been accepted into ACES (Another Chance for English Setters) rescue organization, and can be adopted through their website. ACES Chance has been microchipped to the ACES organization, and there is an adoption fee. Can't you just see this lively little fellow sacked out on your sofa after spending a day in the fields?

NAME: Chamois
BREED: Redbone Hound
AGE:
ID#: C002
HISTORY: This dear little redbone hound was found starving in a nearby township. Chamois and two pals had shown up at a house where a man thought he was doing right by them, but in fact they were severely undernourished. His benefactress was able to talk the man into releasing Chamois and a remaining pal to her care. Chamois has since been neutered, brought current on all his vaccinations and has gained weight. He is having a wonderful time with his foster new location, and loads of toys to play with. Chamois is a very gentle, cuddly youngster, who loves a good game of ball, even if he has to play it by himself. He is very alert, friendly, and always comes when called. He especially loves cookies in the evening. He is about as big as he is going to get, and weighs around 45 pounds, so he won’t take up too much room on the sofa.

NAME: Chloe
BREED: Weimaraner/Lab Mix
AGE:
ID#: C004
HISTORY: Chloe is a seven week Weimaraner/Lab Mix female. Her mother, a pure bred Weimaraner, was taken in as a pregnant stray by an elderly lady who has since passed away. The lady's husband who is even more elderly than the lady found himself not only with the loss of his wife, but with a very large dog and seven pups that he was not physically capable of caring for.

Chloe and her siblings are being fostered through our network, and in desperate need of Forever Homes. At present, the mother's original owner has possibly been located, and may want the return of the Weimaraner, but without the puppies. These puppies will be available for adoption at ten weeks of age. Help with fostering these pups is immediately needed.

NAME: Lucy
BREED: Dalmation / Australian Shepherd mix
AGE:
ID#: L001
HISTORY: Lucy has been subjected to an abnormal amount of heartbreak in her short year of life. She was rescued from a local Animal Shelter in an adjoining county by a young couple. The young couple found they couldn't make it, and the wife called Lucy's foster mom, begging her to take Lucy, as she was moving and couldn't keep her, and the Animal Shelter she had adopted Lucy from would not take her back. So, Lucy has been rejected at least three times already in her meager life. Lucy is believed to be Dalmation/Austrailian Shephard mix. She is spayed and weighs about thirty-five pounds. She loves kids, walking on leash, riding in the car, and OH MY!!!......chasing cats, so a non-cat owning household would be the best for this girl.

NAME: Coal
BREED:
AGE: approx. 1½ yrs.
ID#: C003
HISTORY: The Girl With The Curl! I love these little curly tails! We believe that Coal is about a year and a half old. She is only about thirty pounds, and maybe sixteen inches tall. She is quiet, gentile and loving. Coal was found roaming in the woods, and after a couple sightings she was captured and taken to a local veterinarian who after performing a spay and vaccinations, has sheltered her for the past several months. Coal is house trained, crate trained, and we have discovered loves car rides. Anyone adopting this girl will find they have chosen a wonderful home and traveling companion.
